The Lead Consultant & Project Manager
Job Objective The Lead Consultant & Project Manager will oversee residential development projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful project delivery within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The role involves leading consultant and contractor coordination, managing client relationships, administering contracts, and driving project execution to achieve client objectives.
Job Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Project Leadership & Coordination
• Lead and coordinate residential development projects through all project phases.
• Identify consultant services required for successful project delivery.
• Manage and coordinate project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Organize and lead project and site meetings to resolve project issues and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor project performance against approved budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Consultant & Contractor Management
• Negotiate appointment contracts and fee agreements with clients to secure projects.
• Conduct consultant selection processes, including interviews and evaluations.
• Participate in contractor selection, negotiations, and agreement on contract sums.
• Administer construction contracts and ensure compliance with project deliverables.
Client & Stakeholder Management
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide regular project updates and manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct additional fee negotiations between consultants and clients where required.
Site Supervision & Contract Administration
• Conduct site inspections to monitor project quality, compliance, and progress.
• Prepare interim valuations and support project cost management activities.
• Resolve project-related issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure adherence to construction standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
Job Specifications
Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Building, Engineering, Estate Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
Experience
• Minimum of 5-8years relevant experience in residential development, project management, construction, or consultancy services.
• Proven experience managing residential development projects from initiation to completion.
