Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ibadan, Nigeria. The Cyber Security Tutor will be responsible for creating and delivering educational content on cybersecurity concepts and practices. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classes, providing mentorship, and assessing the performance of learners. The tutor will also assist students in understanding key cybersecurity principles, tools, and techniques while staying up-to-date on industry trends.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, network security, ethical hacking, and threat assessment
• Technical expertise in intrusion detection, malware analysis, and vulnerability assessments
• Experience in training, teaching, or mentoring individuals in cybersecurity topics
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible way
• Proficiency with cybersecurity tools and software
• Experience in developing and structuring educational content for adult learners
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security )
• Passion for education and advancing careers in the cybersecurity field
