Role Description
Branch Manager / Profit Centre Manager (Ibadan)
Role Summary:
The Profit Centre Manager provides end-to-end leadership and performance oversight for Ibadan branch, with full responsibility for revenue growth, portfolio quality, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The role drives business expansion through disciplined credit management, strong customer relationship oversight, and effective team leadership, while maintaining accountability for profit and loss performance. A key focus is balancing aggressive growth targets with sound risk controls, ensuring sustainable profitability, high service standards, and a high-performing branch culture.
Qualifications
• Strong skills in Leadership, Team Management, and Staff Development
• Proficient in Financial Analysis, Budgeting, and Risk Management
• Experience in Sales, Business Development, and Customer Relationship Management
• Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance and Risk Assessment in the financial services sector
• Excellent Communication, Decision-Making, and Problem-Solving abilities
• A proven track record in developing strategies to achieve business growth
• Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CIBN) is a plus
• Experience in the microfinance or financial services industry is an advantage
