JOB TITLE: Finance Leader | Financial Institution

ROLE SUMMARY The Finance Leader role serves as a strategic partner to the Group CFO and
Executive Leadership Team, driving enterprise-wide financial performance, capital optimization, strategic planning, and business decision support across the Group.
The successful candidate will combine strong financial, commercial, and strategic capabilities to support growth initiatives, optimize capital allocation, improve performance visibility, and provide data-driven insights that influence executive and board-level decisions.
This role requires a high-performing finance professional with deep expertise in financial analysis, corporate finance, investment evaluation, business strategy, and performance management within a complex financial services environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Strategy & Business Performance
● Support the development and execution of Group-wide financial and strategic priorities
● Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth, profitability, and capital efficiency
● Drive enterprise-wide performance monitoring across banking and non-bank subsidiaries
● Partner with business leaders to evaluate strategic opportunities and commercial decisions
Financial Planning, Forecasting & Scenario Analysis
● Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes across the Group
● Develop robust financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic and investment decisions
● Evaluate risks, opportunities, and financial implications under varying economic and market conditions
● Support stress testing and sensitivity analysis for capital and liquidity planning
Strategic Finance & Capital Allocation
● Evaluate capital deployment opportunities across businesses, products, and growth initiatives
● Assess investment opportunities, expansion initiatives, and new business ventures
● Support capital optimization initiatives aligned with ROE and shareholder value creation objectives
● Monitor and analyze capital ratios, funding efficiency, and overall financial sustainability
Performance Reporting & Executive Insights
● Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, board papers, and executive performance dashboards
● Deliver insightful analysis on:
○ Revenue performance
○ Cost optimization
○ Profitability trends
○ Portfolio performance
○ Business unit contribution
● Translate complex financial information into actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders
Market Intelligence & Strategic Analysis
● Conduct market, competitor, and industry analysis to support strategic decision-making
● Monitor macroeconomic, regulatory, and financial market trends impacting the
Group
● Identify emerging opportunities across digital financial services, payments,
lending, and adjacent growth sectors
Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Investments
● Support end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, partnerships, and strategic investments
● Conduct financial valuation, investment analysis, and commercial due diligence
● Assist in transaction structuring, financial modeling, and integration planning
● Evaluate investment opportunities from both strategic and financial return perspectives
Portfolio & Investment Management
● Support development and execution of Group investment strategies aligned with risk and return objectives
● Monitor portfolio performance and recommend optimization or rebalancing actions where necessary
● Analyze asset allocation and investment performance across business lines and strategic initiatives
Financial Governance & Regulatory Support
● Support preparation of consolidated IFRS accounts and regulatory reporting requirements
● Assist with audit coordination, tax activities, and regulatory engagements
● Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting and governance standards
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
● Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience across:
○ Corporate Finance
○ Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
○ Investment Banking
○ Strategic Finance
○ Management Consulting
○ Financial Services Strategy
● Proven experience within a complex financial services environment, preferably across banking and non-bank financial institutions
