Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Abuja for the Head, Finance & Operations role at Ascensia Finance Company Limited. The position involves overseeing the financial management and operational strategies of the organization.
Key responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, leading financial reporting processes, developing and implementing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role will also involve managing and optimizing operational workflows, while supporting growth and organizational efficiency.
Qualifications
• Strong expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
• Proven proficiency in Budgeting and Finance
• Excellent Analytical Skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance, particularly within the Nigerian financial sector
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree or professional certification such as CFA, ACCA, or CPA is an advantage)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in financial operations within a banking or financial services environment is highly desirable
