Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nigeria for a Director of Security Operations. The Director will oversee day-to-day security operations, ensure the effective implementation of security protocols, and lead a team of security professionals.
Responsibilities include managing application security, monitoring and responding to vulnerabilities, implementing network security measures, addressing cybersecurity needs, and leading incident response efforts. The Director will collaborate with stakeholders to assess risks, create strategic plans, and ensure robust protection for all clients.
Qualifications
• Strong expertise in Application Security and Vulnerability Management
• Proficient in Network Security and cybersecurity best practices
• Experience in Incident Response and managing high-stakes security situations
• Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for proactive risk management
• Relevant certifications in security operations (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CEH) are highly desirable
• Proven experience in a security leadership role, preferably in a similar context
• Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies, Information Technology, or related field
