Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled
AI Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure AI-powered systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks associated with machine learning models, AI applications, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud environments.
This role combines expertise in
cybersecurity, software engineering, cloud security, and artificial intelligence to ensure AI systems remain secure, resilient, compliant, and trustworthy throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities****AI & Application Security

• Secure AI/ML applications, APIs, models, and inference pipelines against emerging threats.

• Conduct security assessments and threat modeling for AI-powered systems.

• Identify vulnerabilities related to:

• Prompt injection

• Model poisoning

• Data leakage

• Adversarial attacks

• Model inversion

• Jailbreaking attempts

• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for AI systems.

Infrastructure & Cloud Security

• Secure cloud-based AI infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Implement security controls for containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting for AI workloads.

• Ensure secure deployment and runtime protection for LLM-based systems.

DevSecOps & Automation

• Integrate security testing into development and deployment pipelines.

• Automate vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and security monitoring.

• Develop scripts and tools for security automation using Python or Bash.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure AI systems comply with relevant standards and regulations such as:

• ISO 27001

• SOC 2

• GDPR

• NDPA

• NIST AI RMF

• Assist in AI governance and responsible AI implementation.

• Maintain security documentation, incident reports, and risk assessments.

Monitoring & Incident Response

• Monitor AI systems for abnormal behavior and potential security incidents.

• Investigate and respond to security breaches involving AI applications or infrastructure.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement remediation measures.

Collaboration

• Work closely with:

• Software Engineers

• ML Engineers

• DevOps Engineers

• Product Teams

• Security Teams

• Provide security guidance during AI product design and development.

Required Qualifications****Education
• The ideal candidate should have qualifications in:

• Computer Science

• Cybersecurity

• Software Engineering

• Artificial Intelligence

• Related field

Experience

• 3+ years in cybersecurity, DevSecOps, cloud security, or application security.

• Experience securing AI/ML or cloud-native applications.

• Familiarity with modern AI systems and LLM architectures.
