Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and engaging Cybersecurity Trainer for a 3–4 month contract opportunity. The successful candidate will design and deliver impactful cybersecurity training programs that enhance security awareness, technical capabilities, and compliance across the organisation.
This role is ideal for a cybersecurity professional with strong training delivery experience who can effectively engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deliver cybersecurity training sessions, workshops, and awareness programmes
• Conduct instructor-led training, virtual sessions, and practical hands-on labs
• Create training content covering topics such as:
• Security awareness and phishing prevention
• Network and cloud security
• Identity and access management
• Incident response
• Secure coding practices
• Data protection and GDPR compliance
• Cyber risk and governance
• Assess learner understanding through quizzes, simulations, and exercises
• Update training materials in line with current cybersecurity threats and best practices
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align training initiatives with organisational objectives
• Support cybersecurity awareness campaigns and related initiatives
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Proven experience delivering cybersecurity training programmes
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and industry best practices
• Experience training both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into engaging learning experiences
• Hands-on experience within cybersecurity, IT security, or information security environments
Preferred Certifications
The following certifications are advantageous:
• CISSP
• CompTIA Security+
• CEH
• CISM
• GIAC certifications
• Microsoft Security certifications
Contract Details
• 3–4 month contract engagement
• Competitive daily or monthly rate
