JOB SUMMARY The Media and Digital Marketing Manager will lead the media visibility, digital communication, branding, online marketing, and audience engagement strategies for the Africa International Housing Show (AIHS) and Housing TV Africa.
The role requires a creative, strategic, and highly proactive professional with strong experience in digital marketing, social media management, video content coordination, live event promotion, public relations, online advertising, and media partnerships.
The successful candidate will drive awareness, engagement, registrations, sponsorship visibility, TV audience growth, and digital campaigns for Africa’s largest housing and construction platform and its associated media channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Marketing & Campaign Management
Develop and execute digital marketing strategies for AIHS, Housing TV Africa, conferences, exhibitions, TV programmes, and special projects.
Plan and manage social media campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
Drive online registrations, sponsorship visibility, ticket campaigns, and exhibitor engagement.
Manage paid advertising campaigns including Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube promotions, and sponsored content.
Monitor campaign performance and generate digital analytics and performance reports.
Social Media & Online Presence
Manage and grow all official social media platforms for AIHS and Housing TV Africa.
Create engaging daily content including graphics, captions, short videos, reels, interviews, event highlights, and industry updates.
Develop social media calendars and content schedules.
Increase followers, engagement, impressions, and online community interaction.
Monitor trends and create viral and industry-relevant content.
Media & Public Relations
Coordinate media partnerships with television stations, newspapers, blogs, radio stations, and international media platforms.
Prepare press releases, media statements, interviews, and publicity materials.
Coordinate media coverage before, during, and after events.
Maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media organizations.
Ensure strong visibility of AIHS and Housing TV Africa in local and international media.
Video & Content Production
Supervise digital content production including interviews, documentaries, TV promos, event coverage, podcasts, reels, and livestreams.
Coordinate photographers, videographers, video editors, graphic designers, and livestream teams.
Ensure high-quality content delivery for television and digital platforms.
Work closely with presenters, reporters, and production teams on promotional content.
Website & Online Platforms Management
Manage and update official websites and digital platforms.
Upload news stories, event updates, interviews, and promotional materials.
Optimize website content for SEO and visibility.
Ensure online registration platforms function effectively.
Event Promotion & Live Coverage
Lead digital publicity for AIHS conferences, exhibitions, awards, CEO forums, policy roundtables, and side events.
Coordinate countdown campaigns, livestreams, speaker promotions, exhibitor showcases, and real-time event coverage.
Manage media accreditation and influencer engagement during events.
Branding & Corporate Communication
Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and communication materials.
Develop marketing materials including brochures, flyers, newsletters, TV commercials, banners, and corporate presentations.
Protect and strengthen the public image of AIHS and Housing TV Africa.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Digital Media, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years experience in digital marketing, media management, broadcasting, or communications.
Strong knowledge of social media management tools and digital advertising.
Experience in content creation, video coordination, livestreaming, and event promotion.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of graphic design tools and video editing software is an added advantage.
