Role Overview
BertAndre Group is seeking a highly experienced Fractional Marketing officer to provide strategic marketing leadership and brand direction across its portfolio of businesses. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping brand positioning, driving market visibility, strengthening commercial storytelling, and supporting growth-focused marketing initiatives across the Group.
This role is best suited for a strategic marketing professional with proven experience supporting growth-stage companies, building strong B2B brands, and developing commercially aligned marketing systems within the Nigerian business landscape.
Role Description The Group Marketing Officer will oversee and execute strategic marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, engage key audiences, and drive revenue growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, creating and managing marketing campaigns, developing social media strategies, and collaborating with sales teams to achieve business goals. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Lagos State, Nigeria, with flexibility for remote work on a scheduled basis.
Qualifications Key Responsibilities
• Lead brand positioning and communication direction across portfolio companies
• Develop and oversee Group-wide marketing and brand strategy
• Support demand generation and commercial visibility initiatives
• Review and strengthen marketing campaigns, messaging, and content strategy
• Advise on brand architecture, communication systems, and go-to-market execution
• Support ecosystem visibility, partnerships, and strategic brand collaborations
• Work closely with the Business Development Lead and Sales & Marketing Coordinator on campaign execution
• Conduct quarterly marketing strategy and performance reviews
• Support executive communication and thought leadership initiatives where required
Requirements
• Proven experience in strategic marketing, brand management, or growth consulting
• Strong understanding of B2B marketing and commercial positioning
• Experience supporting startups, growth-stage businesses, or multi-business organizations
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and strategic planning skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
