Technical Security Lead
Location: Port Harcourt

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Security Lead to design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide technical security systems.
This role is critical in safeguarding assets, reducing operational risks, and enabling secure business operations across a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead delivery of all technical security projects, upgrades, and system deployments
• Conduct security risk assessments and implement fit-for-purpose technology solutions (ALARP)
• Design and oversee deployment of security systems (CCTV, access control, perimeter protection, etc.)
• Provide technical security input across project lifecycle phases
• Manage security infrastructure operations, maintenance, and system integrity
• Lead and manage a team of 60+ personnel and multiple vendors/contracts
• Oversee access control systems and lifecycle management of security credentials
• Manage security communications systems and infrastructure
• Act as Technical Authority (TA3) for security-related projects
• Manage budgets (OPEX), procurement, contracts, and vendor performance
• Deputize for the Security Resilience Manager when required
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution
• 10–15 years’ experience in technical security systems and project delivery
• Professional certification (e.g., ASIS International or equivalent)
• Strong experience with integrated security systems (CCTV, biometrics, radar, intrusion detection, analytics, etc.)
• Experience managing large teams, vendors, and complex contracts
• Knowledge of ICT infrastructure (networks, servers, telecom systems) is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to operate in high-risk, high-pressure environments
