Position Details
Job Title: Finance & Accounting Manager
Location: Asaba, Delta State
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits
• Base Salary: ₦250,000 Monthly
• Transport Allowance
• Performance-Based Bonus
• Annual Retention Bonus
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee all finance and accounting operations of the organization
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
• Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations and tax obligations
• Apply practical knowledge of the New Tax Reform Act in daily financial operations
• Manage VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT, and other statutory remittances accurately and promptly
• Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and reporting systems
• Provide timely financial reports and strategic insights to management
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and inventory valuation
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and statutory submissions
• Support management decision-making with accurate financial analysis and reporting
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• ICAN or ACCA certification (or active professional progression) is a strong advantage
• Strong practical understanding of the New Tax Reform Act
• Hands-on experience managing VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT, and tax compliance processes
• Sound knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, and audit coordination
• Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in finance or accounting roles
• Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment is highly preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools
