Job Summary
• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Officer with a background in the agrochemical industry to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling agrochemical products, maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets within assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
• Promote and sell agrochemical products including pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and related agricultural solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, farmers, and key clients.
• Identify new markets and business opportunities to increase sales growth.
• Conduct field visits, product demonstrations, and customer training sessions.
• Provide technical support and product information to customers when necessary.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management.
• Ensure timely follow-up on customer inquiries, orders, and payments.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to support business objectives.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in sales within an agrochemical company.
• Strong knowledge of agrochemical products and agricultural markets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Willingness to travel frequently for field and customer visits.
• Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
