WE ARE RECRUITING FOR OUR CLIENT IN THE OIL & GAS INDUSTRY A leading player in the downstream sector of the petroleum industry, specializing in marine cargo inspection, quality and quantity assessment, plant evaluation, laboratory testing, and petroleum operations support, is currently expanding its operations.
Our client is also scaling its presence in petroleum trading and the development of an Energy City in Koko, Delta State, which will include a Refinery, Petroleum Depot/Storage Terminal, Lube Blending Plant, and Gas Plant.
HIRING: HR / ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (SENIOR)
Location: Apapa, Lagos
Work Mode: Onsite
Monthly Gross Salary: ₦400,000
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior HR/Administrative Officer to provide structured administrative, HR, and operational support within a dynamic oil & gas environment.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage documentation systems, coordinate cross-functional operations, and support both HR and administrative processes in a highly regulated, technical, and fast-paced industry.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance adherence, and seamless internal coordination across departments.
What You Will Do
• Oversee day-to-day administrative and HR operations across departments
• Manage employee records, contracts, and corporate documentation in line with compliance standards
• Coordinate communication between operations, technical, HR, and finance teams
• Prepare management reports, HR documentation, and internal correspondence
• Supervise junior administrative staff and ensure efficient workflow execution
• Maintain structured filing systems for audits, regulatory compliance, and internal control
• Support procurement processes, vendor management, and documentation tracking
• Assist in HR functions including onboarding, documentation, and operational HR support
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and industry compliance standards
What We Are Looking For
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in HR or administrative/operations support roles.
• Strong understanding of HR administration and office management systems.
• Experience in oil & gas, engineering, or structured corporate environments is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance awareness
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, structured environment
