As part of our expansion, we are seeking a competent Human Resources Officer to strengthen workforce management, employee engagement, and organizational structure across operations.
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organized Human Resources Officer to manage recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations within the organization.
The role is responsible for ensuring structured HR processes, workforce discipline, policy compliance, and staff development while supporting overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation processes.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and workplace guidelines.
• Coordinate employee performance appraisal and performance management processes.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave, and HR documentation.
• Support workforce planning and organizational structuring.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR standards.
• Coordinate staff engagement, training, and development initiatives.
• Support payroll coordination and staff welfare administration.
• Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics for management review.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years HR experience in a structured organization.
• Strong understanding of recruitment, performance management, and HR operations.
• Knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Time-to-fill vacancies within approved timelines (≤ 30 days).
• Employee retention rate (≥ 85%).
• Timely completion of performance appraisals (100%).
• Accuracy and completeness of HR records and documentation.
• Effectiveness of employee grievance resolution (≥ 90%).
• HR compliance and audit readiness.
• Staff engagement and satisfaction levels.
• Reduction in absenteeism and disciplinary cases.
• Timeliness and accuracy of payroll support processes.
