Job Title: HR Manager – Power Industry

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager with a strong background in the power/energy industry to lead our human resources function. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of progressive HR experience, with deep expertise in industrial relations and labour matters, ensuring compliance, workforce harmony, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Manage and strengthen industrial relations, including interactions with unions and regulatory bodies.
• Handle labour matters, ensuring compliance with Nigerian labour laws and industry regulations.
• Lead dispute resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes.
• Develop and implement HR policies aligned with organizational goals and industry standards.
• Provide strategic HR support to leadership in workforce planning and organizational development.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal HR policies.
• Drive employee engagement, retention initiatives, and culture development.
• Maintain HR records, reports, and analytics for decision-making.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of 8 years’ HR experience, with significant exposure in the power/energy or industrial sector.
• Strong background in industrial relations and labour law compliance.
• Proven experience managing unionized workforce environments.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Sound knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and regulatory frameworks.

Pay: ₦650,000.00 - ₦750,000.00 per month
