Role Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Cybersecurity Sales Specialist with proven experience selling security solutions within the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will combine strong consultative sales expertise with a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies and the unique risk, regulatory, and operational environments within energy and industrial sectors.

This role will focus on identifying, developing, and closing cybersecurity opportunities across mid-market and enterprise organisations, particularly within oil & gas, energy, and critical infrastructure environments. The successful candidate will be able to position cybersecurity solutions in alignment with operational risk, compliance requirements, and business continuity priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through deal closure and transition to delivery teams.

Identify and develop cybersecurity opportunities within oil and gas organisations and related energy sector clients.

Position cybersecurity and managed security services including SOC, SIEM, incident response, cloud security, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.

Engage senior stakeholders including CIOs, CISOs, IT leaders, and operational technology (OT) leaders to understand security risks and operational requirements.

Develop tailored proposals, commercial models, and value-driven business cases in collaboration with technical and pre-sales teams.

Build and maintain strong client relationships within the energy and industrial sectors.

Maintain disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and achievement of revenue targets.

Collaborate closely with security engineering, customer success, and delivery teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.

Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging cyber threats impacting the oil and gas sector.

Required Experience & Skills

5–8 years of B2B sales experience, with a focus on cybersecurity or technology solutions.

Demonstrated experience selling cybersecurity solutions to oil and gas or energy sector clients.

Proven track record closing complex, enterprise-level consultative deals.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies including SOC operations, SIEM, cloud security, incident response, and vulnerability management.

Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), operational technology (OT), or critical infrastructure security is an advantage.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience collaborating with technical and engineering teams in complex sales cycles.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience selling managed security services (MSSP).

Exposure to regulated industries and critical infrastructure environments.

Relevant cybersecurity or cloud certifications are an advantage
