Role Details
• Position:
Cyber Security Engineer (Contract)
• Duration:
2 Months
• Compensation:
₦600,000 – ₦750,000 (based on experience)
• Location:
Remote / Hybrid (Nigeria preferred)
• Start Date:
Immediate
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct end-to-end
security testing
on two applications.
• Perform
vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT)
• Simulate real-world attack scenarios to uncover potential weaknesses
• Identify, analyze, and clearly document vulnerabilities and exploits
• Prioritize security risks based on impact and likelihood
• Provide clear, actionable remediation steps
for engineering teams
• Collaborate with developers to validate fixes and ensure vulnerabilities are resolved
• Deliver a
comprehensive final report
covering findings, risk levels, and recommendations
Required Experience
• Proven hands-on experience in
cybersecurity, ethical hacking, and penetration testing
• Strong understanding of web and mobile application security principles
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, OWASP ZAP
, etc.
• Deep knowledge of the
OWASP Top 10
and common attack vectors
• Experience testing
APIs, authentication systems, and data flows
• Ability to write clear, structured security reports
for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Identified and helped resolve critical vulnerabilities
• Strengthened the overall security posture of our applications
• Delivered a clear, professional security audit report
• Provided guidance that improves our long-term security practices
