The Head Nurse / Midwife is responsible for overseeing all nursing and midwifery operations within the healthcare facility, ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical excellence. The role involves supervising nursing staff, managing maternity services, coordinating patient care, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide leadership and direction to nursing and midwifery staff.
2. Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care at all times.
3. Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing levels.
4. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
