Job Title: Head, Digital Marketing Manager | FMCG

Role Overview The Head, Digital Marketing Manager will lead the organization’s end-to-end digital strategy, driving brand growth, customer acquisition, and revenue across all digital channels. This role requires a seasoned digital leader with proven experience managing international or global FMCG brands, with the ability to localize global strategies for the Nigerian market while maintaining brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Strategy & Leadership
• Develop and execute a globally aligned digital marketing strategy tailored to local market dynamics
• Lead digital transformation initiatives across multiple brands and product categories
• Provide strategic direction across regional and international campaigns
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing digital team
2. Global Campaign Management
• Plan and execute multi-market digital campaigns, ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines
• Work closely with global/regional teams to localize campaigns effectively
• Manage international agency relationships and cross-border collaborations
3. Performance Marketing & Growth
• Drive performance marketing initiatives across paid media, search, and social platforms
• Optimize campaigns for ROI, CAC, and conversion metrics across markets
• Lead digital initiatives that support e-commerce and modern trade channels
4. Data, Insights & Optimization
• Use advanced analytics to evaluate campaign effectiveness across regions
• Implement data-driven strategies using tools like Google Analytics, Meta, etc.
• Continuously refine campaigns using testing, segmentation, and attribution models
5. Consumer Engagement & Brand Building
• Drive consistent brand storytelling across global and local digital platforms
• Lead digital engagement strategies that resonate with diverse consumer segments
• Manage influencer and partnership strategies, including international collaborations
6. Innovation & MarTech
• Identify and deploy best-in-class marketing technologies
• Drive personalization, automation, and digital innovation initiatives
• Stay ahead of global digital trends and apply relevant insights locally
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master’s is an advantage)
• 6–8 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
• Strong experience within FMCG or consumer-driven industries
• Demonstrated experience working on international/global brands or campaigns
• Experience collaborating with global teams or managing multi-country campaigns
• Proven track record of delivering growth through digital channels
• Strong expertise in performance marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, and e-commerce
• Experience managing large budgets and working with international agencies
