Job Description
Growth & Content Marketing Strategist

Remote | Full-Time (Contract)

About Korrency

Korrency is a Canadian money transfer platform on a mission to make sending money to Africa faster, fairer, and more affordable. We serve immigrant communities across the UK and Canada who send money home to Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Senegal, Cameroon, and Côte d'Ivoire. Registered with FINTRAC and the Bank of Canada as a Payment Service Provider under the Retail Payment Activities Act (RPAA), we take the trust our customers place in us seriously, and we are building a team that feels the same way.
About the Role

We are hiring a Growth & Content Marketing Strategist to build the engine that drives user acquisition, retention, and brand authority across our UK and Canadian markets. This is a generalist role for someone who is equally comfortable writing a blog post, briefing a video creator, configuring a lifecycle email journey, and analyzing campaign performance.
You will partner closely with our marketing, product, and leadership teams to shape how Korrency shows up across every channel our customers use. If you are excited by the idea of owning a function rather than executing tickets, and you want your work to help immigrant communities build stronger financial bridges home, we would love to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Email Marketing & Lifecycle. Own the end-to-end execution of our email program, including newsletters, product updates, and sophisticated automated workflows designed to improve conversion and retention.

• Social Media Management. Develop and run our social strategy across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and other relevant platforms. Maintain the brand voice, engage with our community, and keep a pulse on trends in fintech and the diaspora corridors we serve.

• Content Strategy & Creation. Write high-quality, SEO-optimized blog content and marketing copy. In parallel, source, brief, and manage external content creators and influencers to maintain a steady pipeline of high-performing assets.

• Growth Experiments. Plan and execute multi-channel experiments to identify new, scalable acquisition loops across our target markets.

• Tool Stack Ownership. Get the most out of our marketing stack. Ensure our data is clean, our campaigns are accurately tracked, and our reporting is actionable for the team.

What We're Looking For
• 3 to 5 years of marketing experience within the tech sector. Fintech experience is strongly preferred.
• A true generalist mindset. You move comfortably between creative writing and analytical reporting.
• Fintech fluency. You understand the nuances of financial trust, security, and complex product offerings.
• Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, accessible language.

Our Tools

• CRM and Lifecycle: Customer.io, Braze, Clevertap, or similar

• Analytics: Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel, or Amplitude

• CMS: WordPress, Webflow

• Social and Creative: Canva, Figma (basic editing), and scheduling tools such as Sprout Social or Buffer

What You'll Bring to the Team
• A Doer. You don't just strategize; you roll up your sleeves and build the campaign yourself.

• Data-Informed. Open rates, click-through rates, and CAC drive your decisions, not intuition alone.

• Adaptive. You thrive in the pace of a growing fintech, where priorities can shift and new corridors can open with little notice.

How to Apply

• Please submit your resume along with two or three examples of campaigns you have owned, including a short note on the outcomes you drove. We review every application and aim to respond within two weeks.
