Job Description The Sales & Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth, increase brand awareness, and strengthen market positioning. This role leads all sales, marketing, digital, and communication efforts while building strong relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Leadership
• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with business goals
• Provide leadership and direction to the sales, marketing, and reservations teams
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify opportunities
• Prepare annual sales and marketing plans, budgets, and forecasts
Sales Management
• Drive room, F&B, events, and ancillary revenue growth
• Identify and secure corporate, leisure, MICE, and group business opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agencies, tour operators, and partners
• Lead negotiations, contracts, and pricing strategies
• Monitor sales performance and ensure targets are consistently achieved
Marketing & Brand Management
• Oversee brand positioning, advertising, promotions, and PR activities
• Manage digital marketing efforts including website, SEO, social media, email campaigns, and online travel platforms
• Develop and execute seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional offers
• Ensure brand standards and messaging are consistent across all channels
Revenue & Performance Analysis
• Track and analyze KPIs such as , ADR, occupancy, conversion rates, and ROI
• Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize pricing and distribution strategies
• Prepare regular performance reports and presentations for senior management
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
• Work closely with operations, finance, HR, and revenue teams
• Represent the property/company at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums
• Strengthen partnerships with tourism boards, media, and corporate organizations
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
• Minimum
12 years
of progressive experience in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry
• Proven track record of achieving revenue and market growth targets
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strategic thinking and commercial acumen
• Strong understanding of hospitality sales channels and digital marketing
• Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills
• Customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in CRM systems, PMS, and Microsoft Office
