Job Description
An upstream oil & gas operator is seeking a Senior Accountant to drive financial governance, regulatory compliance, and JV reporting oversight.
Key Responsibilities
• Review monthly management accounts & annual financials
• Monitor CAPEX, OPEX, cash flow, and budget variances
• Ensure NRS-compliant upstream accounting
• Oversee cost recovery, asset capitalization, depreciation & impairment
• Manage Petroleum Profits Tax / Hydrocarbon Tax, VAT, WHT compliance
• Support audits and regulatory engagements
Requirements
• BSc Accounting / Finance
• ICAN or ACCA (mandatory)
• 8–10 years upstream oil & gas experience
• Strong joint venture exposure
• High integrity and strong analytical capability
High-impact governance role.
Salary : 1.3m with other incentives
