Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Stock Accountant to manage, track, and reconcile inventory-related financial records. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate stock valuation, monitor inventory movement, and support management with reliable financial insights for decision-making.
Educational Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Work Experience
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in stock/inventory accounting, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, retail, or warehouse operations.
• Proven experience in inventory reconciliation, stock valuation, and cost control
Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP or accounting software (e.g., Sage)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to prepare stock reports, variance analysis, and audit schedules.
Key Responsibilities Awareness
• Monitoring and reconciling physical stock vs system records.
• Conducting periodic stock counts and resolving discrepancies.
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing related to inventory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦120,000.00 per month
