ACEworld Publishers Limited is seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our outbound sales efforts and drive client acquisition within the publishing industry.
This role is ideal for individuals who are proactive, structured, and interested in building a career in sales, publishing, and client engagement.
You will be responsible for generating leads, engaging prospects, and converting opportunities into paying clients.

Employment Type: Full time (Entry - Mid Level)

Work Model: Hybrid

• Remote work allowed

• Mandatory in-office presence: 1 day per week

• Applicants must reside around Mokola, Ibadan

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound outreach via Cold emails, Direct messages (LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram), Phone calls

• Identify and engage potential authors and publishing clients

• Follow up consistently on leads and quotations

• Schedule and coordinate client meetings

• Maintain accurate records and follow-ups using our internal tracking system (Sales Development Manager)

• Update daily activity and performance metrics in the company CRM (Google Sheets system)

• Collaborate with management to close deals and refine outreach strategies

Tools & Systems

• Google Sheets (Sales tracking & KPI monitoring)

• Email platforms

• Social media platforms (LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram, Tiktok and Facebook)

• ACEworld Sales Development Manager (Training will be provided on all relevant systems.)

Compensation Structure
Probation Period (First 2 Months): Fixed Pay (₦70,000)
Post-Probation: Fixed Pay + Commission

Commission will be paid on revenue successfully received by the company.

Performance Expectations

• Consistent daily outreach activity

• Ability to generate and manage a sales pipeline

• Meeting monthly revenue and activity targets

• Accurate reporting and CRM updates

Requirements

• Basic marketing experience

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Confidence in engaging prospects and handling objections

• Basic understanding of sales or willingness to learn

• High level of discipline and consistency

• Ability to work with data and track performance

• Must be teachable and open to structured processes

Nice to Have (Not Compulsory)

• Previous sales or customer-facing experience

• Interest in books, publishing, or content creation

• Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach or email marketing

Training & Growth

• Structured onboarding and training provided

• Exposure to real-world sales systems and processes

• Opportunity to grow into senior sales or account management roles
