Job Summary
The Human Resources Director will provide strategic leadership and direction for all HR functions across the organization. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience managing complex HR operations and overseeing a workforce of at least 8,000 employees across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business objectives
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management across all branches
Lead performance management systems and organizational development initiatives
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements across all states
Drive employee engagement, culture, and retention strategies
Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll structures at scale
Provide leadership coaching and support to senior management
Establish and monitor HR policies, systems, and procedures across all locations
Lead and manage the HR team to ensure operational excellence
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage)
Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure to all core HR functions
Proven experience managing a workforce of at least 8,000 employees across multiple states or branches
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) is an added advantage
