This is a full-time, on-site role for a Corporate Finance Analyst based in Lagos. The primary responsibilities include analyzing financial data, creating financial models, preparing detailed financial reports, conducting financial planning, and providing key insights to support business decisions. The role also involves working closely with senior management to ensure alignment with corporate strategies. Key responsibilities:

a. Working with senior team members on Transaction Origination (company and industry research, identifying potential clients, preparing pitches and joining meetings)

b. Conducting client KYC and developing profiles ahead of transactions c.

Preparing

Investor documents for clients (Investment Memorandum and Financial Projections), as well as managing transaction processes with other professional parties to ensure that deals are completed on schedule.

e. Managing client requests and relationships on a day-to-day basis, including market updates, documentation requirements and regulatory processes.

f. Engaging with institutional investors and coordinating capital raising exercises.

g. Designing transaction structures to meet client needs and investor appetite.

h. Preparation of monthly report on client engagement

Strategic priorities

a. Contributing to the investment decision making and/or transaction structuring process.

b. Contributing to market insights on client acquisition and business development strategies.

c. Supporting marketing and brand image efforts.

Experience and skills

Minimum Educational Requirement: BSc (preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management). Full or part completion of a relevant professional qualification, or a post-graduate degree will be favourably considered.

Candidate Experience

a. Mid-Level (1-3 years post NYSC)

b. Previous experience in a SEC regulated Investment Firm is preferred c.

Experience managing several stakeholders.

Key skills

d. Advanced proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel e. Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft word and PowerPoint.

f. Advanced communication skills- both written and oral. g. Advanced understanding of finance and the Nigerian financial markets. h. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

i. Highly developed problem-solving skills.

j. Strong customer service skills.

k. High level of customer engagement – whilst effectively managing customer expectations.

l. Ability to work in a team.
