Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Abuja for the position of Team Lead, Microfinance Business.
The Team
Lead will oversee and manage a team focused on driving microfinance business growth.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to meet financial targets, providing excellent customer service, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and guiding the team to meet key performance indicators. The role also involves developing relationships with clients in the microfinance sector to identify opportunities and strengthen the bank’s market presence.
Qualifications
• Strong leadership abilities, including Team Leadership and Team Management skills
• Proficiency in Communication and Customer Service to foster excellent client relationships
• Well-developed Analytical Skills for evaluating financial data, identifying trends, and driving growth
• Proven experience in microfinance, retail banking, or related financial services
• Ability to work collaboratively to achieve organizational goals
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Proficiency in financial regulations and compliance requirements is an advantage
• Strong understanding of the microfinance sector and customers’ financial needs
