Job Description
Responsibilities
• Coordinating the Nursing department effectively
• Ensuring that the International Patients Safety Goals are met at all times
• Ensuring compliance to SOPs and hospital guidelines
• Organizing weekly nurses CME
• Working directly with the Medical Director, Consultants, Admin manager , HMO officers, Quality & Infection Control officers to ensure delivery and improvement of quality healthcare
• Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Providing complete prenatal care, including screening tests, and also postnatal visits
• Overseeing and monitoring the labour process and advising mothers on their options to manage pain
• Identifying high-risk pregnancies and referring such patients to the relevant medical specialists
• Providing training and guidance for junior colleagues
• Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribing assistive medical advices and related treatments.
• Recording patient vital signs and medical information.
• Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests.
• Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
Requirements
• Minimum of 6 years working experience.
