Senior Cloud Project Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Project Manager to lead critical cloud migration and implementation projects. This role is based in Akure, Ondo, and requires a candidate with a proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing cloud-based projects, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. This includes developing detailed project plans, managing budgets, allocating resources, and mitigating risks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a deep understanding of cloud architecture, security, and deployment strategies. Strong leadership skills are essential, as you will be guiding cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, and business analysts. You must possess excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to ensure alignment and buy-in across all levels of the organization. Responsibilities include tracking project progress, reporting on key metrics, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies is required. PMP or similar project management certification is highly preferred.
