Job Summary
Oversee fuel management, ensuring accurate measurement, storage, and distribution. Monitoring stock levels, managing transactions, coordinating loading/dispatch and resolving discrepancies.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
• Monitor and record daily fuel consumption for boilers, generators, and other equipment.
• Ensure proper storage of fuel in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of fuel tanks, pipelines, and dispensing systems for leaks or faults.
• Supervise fuel delivery, ensuring correct quantity and quality (e.g. diesel, furnace oil, bagasse).
• Maintain accurate fuel inventory records and reconcile stock levels.
• Prepare and submit fuel usage reports to management for cost control and planning.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for servicing fuel pumps, meters, and storage tanks.
Educational Qualification And Work Experience
• Shall hold the Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Social Science or Engineering related courses.
• Any relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 7 Years hands-on experiences in fuel management in the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Excel, Power Point and Microsoft words.
