Are you an experienced and confident banker seeking a challenging role in our Finance Team?
We have an exciting opportunity for you!
Primary Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all statutory renditions (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually)applicable to the Finance unit are rendered as and when due.
• Assist with monthly tax computations (current and deferred tax calculations andreconciliations); liaise with Tax Consultants on tax-related matters such as taxplanning, tax compliance, transfer pricing, withholding taxes, indirect taxes, PAYE, andso on.
• Provide support for the preparation and review of the accounting policies of thebank in line with existing IFRSs and updating them in line with the release of new IFRSstandards.
• Managing the capital management planning and forecasting for the bank with theaim of optimization of the capital structure and ensuring an appropriate mix of tier Iand II capital while monitoring capital adequacy levels alongside the team lead ofFinancial Reporting.
• Support in liaising with rating agencies and coordinating the annual rating exercise forthe bank

• Preparing proof for all accounts as assigned by the CFO
• Assist with the coordination of the Bank's external audit and regulatory review processes.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 4 - 5 years' experience in financial reporting, accounting, or financial analysis
• Proven experience preparing financial reports and management reports.
• Strong reconciliation skills with the ability to investigate and resolve financial variances.
• Experience supporting month-end reporting and financial close processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis and reporting functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
