THE ROLE
We are seeking a grounded, versatile, and results-driven Corporate Communications & Marketing Manager who understands that winning market share requires a dual-pronged approach - high-touch grassroots engagement and high-tech digital dominance.
This is not a desk-bound role. You will be expected to lead from the front - deploying door-to-door marketing strategies to penetrate new communities and industrial clusters, while simultaneously architecting powerful online campaigns to build brand equity and generate leads. You will be the chief storyteller and brand custodian, ensuring that Blue Seal's message resonates across all touchpoints.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, market penetration, and lead generation across West Africa.
· Position Blue Seal as the preferred partner in the oil & gas, manufacturing and related industries.
· Manage the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communications channels.
· Design and lead aggressive field marketing campaigns targeting industrial clusters, manufacturing hubs, and institutional facilities.
· Oversee the company's digital footprint, including social media and email marketing, website management, and Search Engine Optimization / Search Engine Marketing (SEO/SEM),
· Create compelling content - case studies, white papers, video testimonials, and infographics - that showcases Blue Seal's expertise and success stories.
· Utilize analytics to measure campaign performance, optimize ROI, and refine strategies.
· Leverage AI-powered tools for content creation, audience segmentation, predictive analytics, and campaign automation to gain a competitive edge.
· Stay abreast of emerging marketing technologies and recommend adoption where applicable.
· Serve as the company's spokesperson and media liaison.
· Manage internal communications to ensure staff alignment with corporate vision and goals.
· Oversee crisis communication and reputation management.
· Coordinate stakeholder communications, including newsletters, press releases, and annual reports.
· Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer pain points, and competitive activities.
· Translate insights into actionable marketing strategies to capture new market share.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
· Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in marketing and corporate communications, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
· Proven track record of successfully deploying both door-to-door/field marketing and digital marketing strategies to gain market share.
· Experience in the Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or related industries sectors is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
· Versatility: Comfortable moving between the boardroom and the field.
· Leadership: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a marketing team.
· Digital Savvy: Deep understanding of social media algorithms, email marketing platforms, SEO systems, etc.
· Content Creation: Strong copywriting, storytelling, and visual communication skills.
· Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data and translate it into strategic decisions.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an added advantage.
Education:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
· A Master’s degree (MBA/M.Sc.) or professional certifications is a plus.
WHAT WE OFFER
· Minimum Base remuneration is N500,000 per month,
· Sales commissions and performance bonus,
· Yearly bonus as part of company’s profit sharing policy
