Job Description
Key Responsibility
• Periodic checking of the gas compressor's crankcase and lube tank oil level before starting it.
• Monitoring of HMI and readings.
• Assist with CNG loading, offloading, dispensing, and related operational activities where applicable. Maintaining proper reports and accurate records of all shift activities.
• Ensuring hourly update of gas filling into the skids and capturing readings from the compressors, dispensers and PRMS. Filling up the trucks with natural gas for easy movements to, and fro the daughter's stations.
• Compresses natural gas into the skids and reports to the logistics officer to dispatch them to customer stations.
• Monitor compressors, storage systems, pressure levels, dispensers, valves, meters, and other plant equipment.
Requirements
• HND/ Bachelor's degree inMechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related technical field
• Certifications in CNG operations 2+ years of experience in gas plant operations, preferably with CNG systems.
• Knowledge of CNG compression technology and equipment e.g., reciprocating compressors, dispensers, storage vessels.
• Basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and willing to work in
• shifts, including weekends/holidays. Hausa language is an added advantage.
