Role Description The Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Lekki. The individual in this position will support day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, processing HR documentation, and assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and exit procedures.
Responsibilities include administering HR policies, coordinating employee benefits, and supporting performance management and personnel-related matters. The role will also involve responding to staff inquiries, helping to resolve workplace issues, ensuring compliance with relevant labor regulations, and providing general HR support to management and team members.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management to oversee daily HR operations and support organizational goals.
• Knowledge of HR Policies and Employee Benefits to implement compliant practices and administer benefit programs effectively.
• Experience in Personnel Management to handle employee relations, performance processes, and workforce documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of local labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office and HR information systems (HRIS); ability to maintain accurate digital and paper records.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, chemicals, or agrochemical industry
