Job Summary
• We are seeking a hands-on Head, Maintenance to lead maintenance operations across Stockgap’s downstream Oil & Gas facilities and nationwide LPG cylinder distribution network.
• You will ensure all plants, equipment, and facilities are maintained to the highest safety and efficiency standards, minimize downtime, control costs, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead reactive and proactive maintenance of LPG filling plants, bulk storage, loading gantries, cylinder recertification lines, and depot facilities nationwide.
• Develop and implement Planned Preventative Maintenance PPM schedules to reduce unplanned downtime
• Manage maintenance budget, spare parts inventory, and vendor/contractor relationships
• Ensure full compliance with DPR, SON, HSSE, ISO 14001 & 45001 standards
• Oversee installation and commissioning of new plant, equipment and machinery
• Manage, coach and develop a high-performing multi-site maintenance team
• Drive cost optimization, lean practices, and business improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate records, CMMS data, and report on maintenance KPIs
Qulifications & Experience
• Education: B.Eng. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management. Professional Level 5/NVQ 5 certification required. MBA/MSc is an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 12 years maintenance experience in Oil & Gas Downstream, with exposure to LPG plants, terminals, or cylinder operations
• Skills: Strong technical capability, P&L and budget management, knowledge of ISO, APQP, Lean. Proficiency in CMMS & MS Office
• Competencies: Leadership, problem-solving, HSSE focus, excellent communication, and ability to manage multi-site teams.
