Role Description The Financial Market Sales role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos. The individual in this role will promote and sell financial market products and services, including foreign exchange, fixed income, and money market instruments to corporate and institutional clients. Daily activities include identifying client needs, developing tailored solutions, executing transactions, and monitoring market trends to provide timely market intelligence.

The role also involves maintaining strong client relationships, preparing sales proposals and presentations, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal risk management requirements. Collaboration with trading, research, and relationship management teams is essential to deliver seamless client service and achieve sales targets.

Qualifications
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships, understand client needs, and convey complex financial information clearly.
• Proven Sales experience with a focus on meeting targets, cross-selling, and managing client portfolios in financial markets or related sectors.
• Familiarity with Direct Store Delivery or analogous distribution/sales processes, demonstrating ability to manage channels, logistics, or structured product delivery to clients.
• Experience in Training, including the ability to educate clients or internal teams on products, market developments, and sales best practices.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulatory environment, particularly within Nigeria and Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; a relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACI) is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in spreadsheets and financial analysis tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
