Role Overview:
• We are seeking Senior Associates to join our Investment Banking team. This role is ideal for candidates with strong deal execution experience gained either at an investment bank with a demonstrable transaction track record, or within the Transaction Advisory / Deal Advisory arm of a Big Four firm. The successful candidates will play a central role in executing live transactions, managing analyst teams, and acting as a key point of contact for clients on day-to-day deal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the day-to-day execution of M&A, capital raising, and advisory transactions, from origination support through to closing
• Build and review complex financial models, including DCF, LBO, merger models, and trading/transaction comparables
• Prepare and review pitch books, information memoranda, management presentations, and other client-facing deliverables
• Conduct industry, market, and company-specific research to support deal theses and client recommendations
• Coordinate due diligence processes, liaising with legal counsel, accountants, and other third-party advisors
• Manage and mentor Analysts and Junior Associates, reviewing their work product and supporting their technical development
• Act as a key liaison between clients, senior bankers, and deal counterparties, ensuring smooth transaction flow
• Support senior team members in client pitching, business development, and origination efforts
• Ensure all work is delivered to a high standard of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality
Candidate Requirements
Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, gained in either:
• An investment bank, with demonstrable involvement in completed transactions M&A, ECM, DCM, or similar; or
• The Transaction Advisory Services / Deal Advisory practice of a Big Four firm with exposure to due diligence, valuations, or M&A support engagements
• Prior experience working on live, completed deal mandates is essential; candidates should be able to speak to specific transaction involvement during interview
Technical Skills:
• Strong financial modelling skills DCF, LBO, merger consequences, accretion/dilution
• Solid understanding of valuation methodologies and corporate finance principles
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint,
• Strong grasp of financial statements, accounting concepts, and deal structuring
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field Master's degree an advantage
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage
