Job Position: HR Intern / Assistant

About the Role
• We are looking for a smart, intelligent, highly organized and proactive HR Intern/Assistant to support the effective delivery of our Human Resources functions.
• This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who is eager to learn, willing to build a career in HR and ready to gain practical experience across key areas of people management and administration.
• The successful candidate should be a fast learner with strong attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Key Responsibilities
• Support day-to-day HR administrative activities and employee documentation.
• Assist with recruitment, interview coordination and onboarding of new employees.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
• Support attendance, leave and other employee-related records.
• Assist in preparing HR reports, letters, memos and other documentation.
• Support employee engagement, welfare and internal HR initiatives.
• Assist with training coordination and HR development activities.
• Support performance management and other HR processes as required.
• Ensure proper filing, documentation and retrieval of HR records.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
• Carry out other HR-related duties assigned by the HR Manager/Head of HR.
Requirements
• A Bachelor's Degree or HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in HR or administration. Fresh graduates with strong potential are encouraged to apply.
• Smart, intelligent, resourceful and highly organized.
• Strong willingness to learn and build a career in Human Resources.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
• Professional attitude, maturity, discretion and willingness to take responsibility.
• Must be proactive, teachable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Must Reside in Imo state.
