Role Description The Human Resources Administrative Specialist is a full-time role responsible for supporting day-to-day, office operations, clients support, HR operations and employee services. This position is based in Lagos.
Daily responsibilities include maintaining employee records, coordinating recruitment logistics, scheduling interviews, office operations, client support and assisting with onboarding and orientation. The role also supports employee relations activities by responding to HR inquiries, helping implement policies, and facilitating internal communications. Additional tasks may include preparing HR reports, assisting with benefits and payroll documentation, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a positive and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated skills in HR Management and Human Resources (HR), including basic knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Strong Communication and Employee Relations skills to interact effectively with team members at all levels and support a respectful workplace.
• Customer Service capabilities for responding to internal and external inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Solid organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, HRIS software).
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality in all HR-related matters.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; professional HR certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience in an HR support or administrative role, ideally within a technology or professional services environment, is preferred.
