We're Hiring: FX Trader
📍 Lagos, Nigeria | Coronation Merchant Bank
Coronation Merchant Bank is seeking an experienced FX Dealer to join our Treasury team, executing foreign exchange transactions and managing currency risk in line with market opportunities and regulatory requirements.
What you'll be involved in:
🔹 Executing spot, forward, and swap FX transactions for the Bank and clients
🔹 Monitoring FX market trends, rates, and liquidity conditions in real time
🔹 Managing the Bank's FX trading positions within approved limits
🔹 Pricing and quoting rates for corporate and institutional clients
🔹 Ensuring compliance with CBN FX guidelines and internal risk/trading policies
🔹 Building and maintaining relationships with counterparties, correspondent banks, and clients
🔹 Collaborating with Treasury Sales, Risk, and Settlements teams on trade execution and reporting What we're looking for:
✔️ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
✔️ 3+ years' experience as an FX Dealer within a bank or financial institution
✔️ Strong understanding of the Nigerian FX market and CBN regulatory framework
✔️ Proven track record in FX trading and risk management
✔️ Strong numerical, analytical, and decision-making skills under pressure
✔️ Relevant certifications (ACI Dealing Certificate or similar) an advantage If you are a disciplined FX professional ready to trade at a leading merchant bank, we'd love to hear from you.
