FinaTrust Microfinance Bank is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Operations Assistant to join our Finance team in Lagos.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist with day-to-day finance and banking operations.
• Process and monitor internal and interbank fund transfers.
• Prepare and maintain payment documentation and supporting schedules.
• Assist with daily bank reconciliations and investigate outstanding items.
• Review transactions and ensure proper accounting records are maintained.
• Assist with branch cash, expense and operational reconciliations.
• Support preparation of daily, weekly and monthly finance reports.
• Ensure transactions are processed accurately and within approved procedures and controls.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Liaise with branches, banks and internal departments to resolve transaction-related issues.
• Support the Finance team during audits and month-end closing activities.
• Perform other finance and operational duties assigned by the supervisor.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, banking or financial operations.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Good MS Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in a Microfinance Bank or financial institution will be an added advantage.

Candidates who have completed NYSC or hold an exemption certificate are also welcome
