Job Title:
Senior Accountant (Hospitality / Chinese Restaurant)
Job Summary
We are a Chinese restaurant in Abuja seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with hospitality/restaurant experience to manage financial records, cost control, payroll, taxation, and support kitchen and bar operations to improve profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records
• Prepare monthly financial reports and manage cash flow
• Work with kitchen, stockkeeper, and bar staff to develop and monitor food & beverage portioning and cost control
• Oversee inventory, stock audits, and reconciliations
• Manage staff payroll and related deductions
• Handle tax filings (PAYE, VAT, WHT, etc.)
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Monitor daily sales and POS reports
• Support management with budgeting and financial planning
• Perform other accounting duties related to restaurant/hospitality operations
Requirements:
• BSc/HND in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years experience, preferably in hospitality or restaurant accounting
• Strong knowledge of food & beverage costing and portion control
• ICAN/ACCA is an advantage
