Role Description
The Financial Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Lekki. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing general ledger entries, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
The Financial
Accountant will monitor cash flows, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and reconcile accounts. Day-to-day tasks include using accounting software to record transactions, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams, responding to financial inquiries, and providing analytical insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Finance and experience with Financial Reporting.
• Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret Financial Statements.
• Proficiency with Accounting Software and related digital tools.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills, including attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work on-site in Lekki and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
